The screen on its own, before a game was plugged into it. A test card, a font and a palette strip on a wall of individually addressed surfaces — and then the same cog again, much bigger.
A reusable pixel screen fits in one COG, parameterised entirely from the JKL's COGS row. 40×30 is 1200 surfaces cleared in a single frame; the same cog does 118×88 = 10,384 cells.
