                         four20ip Skin Pack
======================================================================

A Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II multiplayer skin mod.
Adds Sith, Pux, Jezz, Gnarl, AOC and HK-47 after the 28 original skins.
All six fit the same stock player rig and height, including Jezz.
Jezz uses Jenny's model from the Studio Avatar Pack.
All six have character reactions produced by Shmotime: hurt, jumping,
falling, hard landings, death, drowning and recovery breaths. HK-47 uses
his Assassin Droid voice with mechanical effects.

JOINT IMPROVEMENTS
All six skins use capped, intersecting, chamfered joint extensions.
The idle animation bug that moved Gnarl's chest is fixed.

INSTALL
Place f20ipskins.gob in your game's mods/ folder and enable it in your
mod launcher. In OpenJKDF2Libretro, enable the mod in its Mod Manager.
Create or edit a multiplayer character and select one of the six new
skins. The host needs the pack. Other players can join without it:
they see the custom characters as Kyle and hear stock fallback sounds.
Players with the pack see and hear the custom characters.
Only enable one skin pack that replaces the character selection list.
Remove or disable f20ipskins.gob to uninstall.

UPGRADING AN EXISTING CHARACTER
JK saves the skin and sound class separately in each multiplayer character.
Characters created before this audio update can still use Kyle's voice.
With this pack enabled, edit the character, switch to another skin, select
the desired four20ip skin again, and save. Start a fresh multiplayer match;
resuming an old session/save can retain the old sound assignment.
Creating a new multiplayer character with the desired skin also works.

This is a skin pack, not an episode or a gameplay mod. It uses the normal
Jedi Knight animations, weapons and player sizes. Team-color game modes
can substitute their normal team skins. Only existing player sound events
are used; there are no gameplay COGs or new dialogue triggers.

TECHNICAL NOTES
Split rigid 3DO meshes preserve the original animation node indices.
Textures retain up to 1024 pixels; 16-bit textures need 3D acceleration.
Audio is mono 16-bit PCM at 11025 Hz, resampled to preserve pitch and
duration while halving the WAV data compared with the first audio build.
A sound-resource-only static.jkl
preloads the six SNDs without changing stock scripts or gameplay. Mods
which replace static.jkl or models.dat can conflict; use this pack alone
unless the other mod explicitly supports combining them.
The headless OpenJKDF2 tests do not establish retail compatibility.
Owner testing in original Jedi Knight and human multiplayer is pending.
